I guess up until MacOS 10.3.4 everything was OK, but this issue has been around so long now I'm no so sure.
Everything transferred fine except now I can't use MS Word. I've done several fully blanked and fresh installs of the OS to try to fix this (and boy do I not want to go through yet another TimeMachine restore which takes 12+ hours with the amount of data backed up), Reinstalling Office for Mac 2011 I bought a new Mac and used Migration Assistant to move everything from the old Mac to the new one.
